Grubler flicked his eyes back and forth from the gun to Curt. Britt didn’t go with Geri, instead, she stayed with him, her hand wound in his shirt. A shirt which was a bit looser than he wore typically.
“I need you to go with Geri, Britt. I will be there in a moment. I just need a chat with this asshole first.”
“Curt,” she whispered.
“I love you, Britt. I’ll be there in five minutes.”
She left and kept her eyes on the door. He’d been right, Simon was there, holding Geri and kissing her as if she was his world. Spun around by Curt she sighed as he wrapped her close and captured her lips.
“I’m in love with you, Britt. Tell me you’ll give us a chance.”
Tears burned her eyes and she nodded. “Yes. Oh yes. I love you too.”
