I think that science fiction, even the corniest of it, even the most outlandish of it, no matter how badly it's written, has a distinct therapeutic value because all of it has as its primary postulate that the world does change. I cannot overemphasize the importance of that idea

Science Fiction.
Science fiction is the act of solving problems by planting seeds.
By taking the power of the human imagination and the power of the human heart, authors tackle the challenges of the plausible, and the implausible (or unimaginable) often in ways that make the next generation deal with these same challenges while they sleep. Their books (or Kindles) beside them where they fell, their chests rising and lowering slowly, the subconscious dreaming dreams the conductors (authors) hinted at just mere moments before.
